Wood is recruiting a Work Order Co-Ordinator to support our project based at our client site on a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
This role is based in Aberdeen and hybrid working with the expectation of working 3 days from our Aberdeen office.
Responsibilities
The Role
The Work Order Co-Ordinator is responsible for the preparation of preventive, corrective and extraordinary maintenance including work orders and work packs considering time, resources, materials, equipment/tools in line with HSEQ policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
* Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and client’s HSEQ procedures
* Reports all incidents, accidents, near misses and unsafe conditions
* Ensures all maintenance is undertaken with the highest regard to HSEQ issues
* Prepares work in line with requested compliance to achieve integrity
* Scope Accepted Work Orders, identify and sequence tasks, materials, labour, services & tools and update Maximo accordingly
* Estimate task durations and resource requirements and update work orders in Maximo
* Liaises with on & offshore support teams, repair contractors, manufacturers, vendors etc. as necessary to prepare purchasing requisitions and call off materials, labour and tools
* Discusses, and review outstanding work requests and work order status with the Work Coordinator & Lead Technicians
* Ensures integrity of data held in maintenance support systems such as Maximo is accurate
* Accountable for correct & timely & complete preparation of preventive, corrective and extraordinary maintenance activities within the 17-week planning horizon
* Any other reasonable duty as per instruction by your manager

Expected
* Practical experience in a similar function
* Experience in working on offshore installations
* Experience and knowledge of Maximo
* Recognised trade qualification/NVQ 3 HND/HNC
* Knowledge of monitoring and controlling with associated discipline maintenance activities
* Able to make decisions or request support when not sure
* Team player
* Supportive mentality and good communication skills
