You will ensure Residents are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their well-being.
Contribute to the efficient and effective day-to-day management of the human resources involved in providing care through the staff team and ensuring that the required standards are maintained.
Ensure all recording systems and organisational documentation are of a high standard and kept up to date.
Be responsible for all staff receiving formal supervision and appraisals.
Oversee the duty rota monthly in advance ensuring the correct skills and numbers on duty.
Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of the individuals you support.
Qualifications:
1. Experienced Home Manager within the Elderly care sector, dementia care.
2. A thorough understanding of CQC standards – has achieved outstanding and good CQC reports throughout the period of Registered Manager.
3. Required: NVQ Level 4 working towards Level 5 or have this already.
4. Required: Good IT skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
5. Has the ability to run a 40 bedded service.
6. Has the ability to support a staff team of 60.
7. Has some experience of Atlas and Person Centred or similar.
