As part of a growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven Key Client Manager to be based in Plymouth.
Role Summary:
As a Key Client Manager you will build strong relationships with our top-spending clients, ensuring their needs are always met. Additionally, you will apply your sales skills to generate new business, leading strategic sales campaigns and making the most of every business development opportunity.
Account management:
* Look after a portfolio of high-spending customers ensuring their training and consultancy needs are met
* Building and maintain relationships with decision-makers
* Identify opportunities for service improvements and proactively seek feedback
Sales:
* Maximise opportunities for sales arising from your key accounts
* Identify opportunities for growth within your portfolio
* Participate and/or lead sales drives identified by the Marketing and Leadership teams
* Achieve sales targets
* Up- and cross-sell across our full range of services
* Communicate effectively and efficiently with your colleagues in the technical and customer service teams
Administration:
* Process training and consultancy bookings on our internal booking system
* Generate complex service proposals, consulting with internal experts as and when required
* Run training reports for clients
* Produce training matrices for clients
* Monitor and follow GDPR requirements regarding record-keeping and confidentiality
* Assist with tender completion
We are looking for someone who has:
* Proven experience in a sales and customer service role
* The confidence to work professionally with senior decision-makers, establishing a level of trust from the start
* The ability to self-manage a demanding workload whilst remaining focused on the task in hand
* The ability to act as an effective team player with drive, energy and passion to motivate self and fellow team members
* Proven experience in an administration role, and is competent in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
* Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - and attention to detail
* General ability to understand the bigger impact on the business and identify opportunities for growth, innovation and improvement
