JOB DESCRIPTION The Information and Advice Hub offers free, impartial, and confidential advice services to residents across South Ayrshire. Working in this role you need to be completely customer focused and have a background in delivering front line customer service. This role will be part of our core team based within the Information and Advice Hub in Ayr. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to provide a full welfare rights and money advice service including budgeting skills as well as general advice on employment, immigration, and a range of other topics. You will need to be flexible to meet the needs of the role and travel across South Ayrshire on occasion to provide our services from foodbanks and other community venues. To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate your abilities in delivering a frontline customer service, you should be flexible to meet the changing needs of the service and have the drive to assist with meeting the Council Commitment of reducing poverty and disadvantage. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience of working in a similar role delivering welfare rights and/or money advice, can demonstrate skills in handling customer enquiries face to face, by phone, digitally and have experience of using multiple ICT systems simultaneously.
