From our office near Brentwood, we provide fire door, fire barrier and structural steel protection services to a wide range of clients including some of the best-known hospitals, universities and construction firms in the country. We are currently looking for a motivated person with PFP Supervising experience to join our team. The role Based on our sites around London, South East and South West England, you will be responsible for supervising installation phase of passive fire protection contracts including management of operatives, arrangement of material and equipment supplies, and responsibility for installation compliance and health and safety compliance on site. The hours will be full-time between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm, Monday – Friday, some weekend work is available. The role requires effective communication with the ability to engage personnel within the organization and clientele; strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively and within in a team. Responsibilities Communicate scope of work and installation process to site operatives Brief operatives on health and safety requirements and RAMS/CH&SPP’s in line with site and task requirements Ensure materials and plant/equipment requirements are specified in line with compliance and operational needs Identify labour needs (numbers, roles, qualifications) and ensure labour is allocated Manage site labour, subcontractors Liaise with client representatives during delivery of the installation Inspect health and safety compliance during site visits Support the Health & Safety Manager in ensuring the company remains compliant with all health & safety rules and regulation Must have Passive Fire Protection Experience and Supervisor experience on Passive Fire Protection projects Minimum of a Level 2 In Passive Fire Protection is essential SSSTS or SMSTS is essential
