dining restaurant is recruiting for a Bartender.

Mary has been cooking regional Indian cuisine, from Goa and Kolkata to Mumbai
and Peshawar, since the 1990s. This makes it a true pioneer not just in Indian
food in London, but in the city’s restaurant culture as a whole. The
restaurant offers supple, luxurious, and generous hospitality, allied to a deep
understanding of not just India's cuisines, but of what different diners — from
day to day and decade to decade — want when experiencing them.
A little
about us:
MW Eat owns and runs three fine dining restaurants - Amaya
(Michelin Star), Chutney Mary, Veeraswamy (Michelin Star); and several Masala
Zone sophisticated informal dining restaurants. All the restaurants are
excellently located within central London and all are rooted in a deep
understanding of authentic Indian cuisine while constantly focusing, with flair
and curiosity, on contemporary interpretations.
About the role:
We are searching for highly motivated individuals, who have
worked in a similar role and have the experience to offer a quality experience
to our guests and impress them with knowledge and skilful presentation of the
beverages. You will be an excellent and confident communicator with exceptional
people skills and be very passionate about sharing the facts about the
beverages.
In a nutshell:
•You will be presenting the very essence of our Pukka bar and impress the guests with your mixology knowledge, creativity and charm
• You will always seek an opportunity to tell a story about the spirits you use. Where are they coming from, how are they made
• You will take pride and joy in creating the most colourful seasonal cocktail menus
• You will lead the conversations with ease in a most collaborative way to ensure everyone has the best experience possible
The skills that will need to be demonstrated include:
• Excellent knowledge of everything and anything related to cocktails and continuous research of new trends
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Impeccable appearance as you will be working with high profile guests
• Confident, professional and welcoming personality striving to get along with everyone
• Genuine passion and commitment (short term experiences will not be considered)
Days and Hours of work – 35 hours, spread over 5 days. 2
double shifts + 3 evenings. Weekend off once a month.
Rate of Pay £18-£20 an hour for the right level of experience
