Job Description
Rikama Education are looking for a committed Inclusion Manager to join an SEN school, supporting young people with Autism, Mental Health, and challenging Behaviour.
You will be responsible for managing behaviour and implementing policies at Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 according to the school’s requirements. It will be fundamental to provide an individualised approach to enable each child to access the curriculum at their level/stage of development. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the job with an ability to reach out to students and create a relationship of mutual trust.
They will know how to engage students, inspiring them with a desire to learn. You will be responsible for supporting the students throughout the school day in lessons and recreational time. Students are fully verbal but need positive support in lessons. The school has a great feel, supportive SLT, and has approximately 50 young pupils who have a variety of social, emotional, educational, and behavioural needs.
The school's aim is to fill the gap by working with young people with EHCPs or who have been excluded from mainstream school at an early age due to their conditions. Should you be accepted for this post, you will be rewarded by:
