The school cater for learners aged 3 – 19 and require teaching assistants to work with them on a full-time basis, Monday – Friday during term time, to start as soon as possible. The position requires you to be on your feet and alert throughout the day, great news for anyone looking to get their steps in Role and responsibilities; Support pupils with SEN one-on-one or in small groups. Assist the teaching staff in the implementation of Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs). Additionally, you might be asked to assist with the midday supervisory needs, which include keeping an eye on the pupils as they eat and play outside. Requirements; Prior experience supporting children or adults with additional needs. We must be able to reference this. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
