Job Title: HSE Advisor (Nights) Duration: 1 month initially with possible long term extension Start: June 2024 Location: Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater Our client is undertaking a significant mechanical installation at HPC (Bridgwater, Somerset) and require an experienced HSE Advisor to manage a scope of work. This is a nightshift role, initially for one month but there is a possibility it may be extended on a long term basis. They are looking for an individual to work 12 days on/ 2 days off for over a 28-day duration covering the month of June. Key Responsibilities: • Development, maintenance and suggested improvements of current HSE management processes and procedures • Deploy the management system requirements on site • Tracking actions and Non-Conformance Reports • Verifying the effectiveness of action taken and improvements and document control, ensuring records are kept and maintained • Developing supporting information to enable quick, easy to read information of HSE requirements • Tracking and championing Performance Standards and HSPI (Health & Safety Performance Indicators) set in projects • Conducting verification checks on site against life-saving rules, client standards, HSE Plans, RAMS Qualifications: • NEBOSH General Certificate • CSCS (MAPS) or CCNSG Skills and Experience: • Proven experience working in a similar role, preferably within the Nuclear Industry (Previous Security or HPC clearance beneficial) • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation and regulations (preferably with exposure to mechanical disciplines) • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • User of IT Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, and other relevant software applications • You must have availability to undertake all night shifts (24 shifts) as this is a critical time sensitive installation (24 days) Rate: • £430 PAYE or £600 (umbrella) • We are unable to pay CIS or Ltd Co on the project
