The role of class teacher provides a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team at RDM.
This role will be based in our Intensive Support Provision for pupils with complex additional needs.
We are looking for a teacher to work in our provision planning and delivering a sensory based curriculum to a small class of pupils all with additional needs.
Ideally the successful candidate will have experience in this area however, values mindset and transferable skills are equally important.
In your role you will be leading and working with a team of support staff and with a range of multi-agency partners and parents so excellent communication skills are essential.
The Individual
We are looking to appoint a nurturing and committed class teacher to join our welcoming school team.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate flexibility and understanding of approaches to meet a range of complex learner needs.
You will be able to listen to and be responsive to learner needs.
You should be able to demonstrate a range of teaching skills, qualities and enthusiasm to further develop and build on the existing high standards of learner experiences within our Intensive Support Provision.
You will be committed to continually enhancing knowledge and skills through working collegiately and through CPD.
The ability to work as part of the team is essential.
You will join a dedicated team at RDM who are committed to providing an excellent education for all young people and promote an ethos of inclusion.
