This role is instrumental in supporting the development and delivery of workforce reporting provision for the Trust, ensuring that managers and clinicians have the information that they require to deliver key performance targets to support our staff to provide the best care possible to our patients.

Some Of Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Provide managers and clinicians across the Trust with regular workforce related reporting supporting the maintenance and improvement of workforce key performance indicators.
* Ensure procedure documents are updated regularly in line with current practice and ways of working.
* Responsible for collating information from various teams in preparation for regular reporting.
* Responsible for the co-ordination, delegation, and collation of responses to workforce related Freedom of Information requests.
* Monitor the team group mailbox, answering ad hoc queries and delegating/escalating tasks where appropriate.
* To manage access to the Workforce Insights PowerBI app and to deliver training on our dashboards on a 1-1 or small group basis and reviewing and updating user guides, as necessary.
* Update data on information systems to improve the quality and integrity of our reports.
* Develop skills in new technologies to support the team in improving and automating our current and future processes.

Job Description
Job responsibilities
* Run daily, weekly and monthly data sets as per the standing operational procedures.
* Escalate issues of concern to the Principal Workforce Analyst, identify any trends or areas which require further in-depth analysis.
* Responsible for the co-ordination, delegation and collation of responses to workforce related Freedom of Information requests.
* Monitor the team group mailboxes, answering ad hoc queries and delegating/ escalating tasks where appropriate.
* To manage access to the HR Dashboards, Smart Survey, and relevant Teams groups and to deliver training on our dashboards on a 1-1 or small group basis and reviewing and updating user guides as necessary.
* Update data on information systems to improve the quality and integrity of our reports.
* Develop skills in new technologies to support the team in improving and automating our current and future processes.
* To understand and interpret information requirements, assess the purpose for which the information is required and develop and deliver appropriate solutions using various information tools and techniques.
* To plan and organise personal workloads to ensure deadlines are met for statutory, regular, and ad-hoc requests.
* To proactively improve methods of data extraction, manipulation, analysis, and presentation.
* To provide relevant data or information in a timely way, working to tight deadlines and being flexible to enable urgent requests to be responded to.
* Review the quality of data and identify reasons for any anomalies proactively. Regularly review the integrity of data through a range of validation techniques.
* To collate, analyse and present a range of management information in respect of key performance indicators to meet internal and external needs. To analyse patterns and trends which will help decision making.
* To support managers regarding workforce information, raising the profile of the importance of consistent, good quality data in the Trust.
* Develop, deploy, and distribute compliance reports to inform line managers, the Trust Board, and other key stakeholders on mandatory compliance actions.
* Support relevant databases, participating in data entry and production of meaningful statistical analysis of reported compliance outcome activity.
* Utilise various workforce systems, such as HealthRoster and recruitment systems, and their functionalities to aid with data requests and reporting requirements.
* Ensure the data held in various workforce systems is accurate, ensuring triangulation and data quality across various workforce systems.
* Identify causes of data inaccuracies and devise resolutions to prevent recurrence. Liaison with key leads to improve data entry issues if applicable.
* To deliver 1:1 or small group training to service users on the HR Dashboard and other reporting functions.
* Produce, update and promote user guides and support material to enable service users to make best use of all the learning resources available.
Person Specification
Experience Essential
* Advanced IT skills - Microsoft Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, and Excel to a high level including manipulation and present data in user friendly formats.
* Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to differing audiences, using negotiation skills.
* Ability to plan and manage time effectively.
* Strong attention to detail.
Desirable
* Advanced Excel knowledge including complex formulae and VBA macro development.
* An understanding of the NHS and various education and training needs of its staff.
* Power BI or equivalent software skills.
Skills and Knowledge Essential
* Experience of manipulating and analysing data to create effective visual charts using Microsoft Excel and Business Intelligence Software.
* Experience of information governance and data protection.
* Experience creating and analysing surveys and responses.
* Experience of training and developing others.
* Problem solving skills, able to trace a story back to the original problem.
Desirable
* Previously worked within an NHS setting with knowledge of NHS processes and structures.
* Knowledge and experience of using ESR (Electronic Staff Record) and Allocate HealthRoster.
* Experience managing of junior staff and task delegation.
Qualifications Essential
* Educated to Diploma level or equivalent experience.
