4. Performing welding procedures in a range of positions including 6G.
5. Working within a team to resolve production and quality issues, with the flexibility to undertake other tasks when production work is not required.
Your role will be an integral part of our manufacturing process and will enable Rolls-Royce to maintain our excellent quality standards.
Who we're looking for:
To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria:
1. Completion of a recognised time-served welding apprenticeship including City and Guilds, NVQ3 or equivalent.
2. Experience completing thick gauge welding procedures, ideally working on pipes.
3. Experience in pressure welding to 100% X-Ray, ultrasonic, or liquid penetrant inspection (LPI) is preferred.
4. Experience in welding a range of materials, including stainless steel.
5. Working knowledge of health, safety (including COSHH), and environmental procedures.
We are an equal opportunities employer committed to developing a diverse workforce and an inclusive working environment. We believe that different backgrounds and cultures provide diverse perspectives, contributing to our success. By building a culture of respect and appreciation, we give everyone the opportunity to realise their full potential.
