Step into the role of Assistant Finance Analyst!

Your role of Assistant Finance Analyst sits within our friendly and passionate Finance department.
Your Role:
1. Support the Finance Analyst in producing and providing accurate reporting on Retail store sales, margins and operating costs.
2. Responsibility for maintaining the daily cashflow of the business, ensuring sufficient funds are available to meet the business needs.
3. Administration of capital expenditure on all projects.
4. Business partnering with key stakeholders in the Creation and Marketing teams, reporting on key performance indicators and cost control to ensure the business grows profitably.
5. Supporting in the monthly creation of the Management Accounts pack. Responsibility for key schedules to include but not exclusively Store Payroll, Store Costs, Net Margin and Overheads.
6. Support in the preparation and creation of the weekly trade pack for review by the Operational Board in the weekly trade meeting.

From a technical and operational perspective, it would also be advantageous if you can demonstrate the below:
1. We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic environment.
2. You will have the ability to remain calm under pressure and manage a wide range of stakeholders, including senior management.
3. Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
4. Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
5. Ability to challenge processes and drive improvements.
6. Intermediate Excel skills.
7. Experience in handling challenging conversations with suppliers.
8. Part-qualified in ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
9. Previous experience in a financial role, with a strong focus on data accuracy.

This is a full time role based at 'The Barn' - this is Joules' purpose built Head Office in Market Harborough, Leicestershire. Built in 2020, our team benefits from a creative, collaborative and open plan working environment that boasts comfort and exceptional design. It's truly a great place to work.

This role is office based and typically requires 5 days a week working onsite, as we believe this is where we make the best decisions together.
