We are recruiting for individuals who have a genuine interest and passion for building a career in Engineering within the food industry. You will have the ability to work with many of our operational teams involving a wide variety of equipment and machinery to provide a wide range of experience and learning opportunities.
Breakdowns/Fault Finding
1. Promptly attend machinery breakdowns/malfunctions carrying out such work as necessary to ensure that machinery and equipment is adequately maintained.
Preventative Maintenance
1. Maintain a planned preventative maintenance schedule, ensuring such work is carried out as necessary to ensure that equipment and services are adequately maintained.
2. Work with a view to aid the site in maximising yields, quality, and profit, while minimising cost.
Equipment
1. Ensure all equipment is always in good safe working order, provisioning for timely servicing and repair.
Research, Innovation and Product Development
1. Opportunity to be involved in continuous identification of new product concepts, varieties and new systems/refinement in harvesting to meet the changing needs of our customers and establish a competitive advantage for the business.
2. Involvement in improvement projects, aiding in the design, manufacture, and validation of equipment.
The ideal candidate we are looking for:
1. Wants to be part of the future of Engineering.
2. Is a team player who can demonstrate the ability to problem-solve, adapt the way they work, and think logically in how they approach tasks.
3. Has a minimum of 4 GCSE's including Maths & English 9-4 or equivalent.
4. Can communicate with a range of people and work as part of a team.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
