As the COO, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our operations, optimizing internal processes, and enhancing service delivery across our cybersecurity services. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will work closely with executive leadership to ensure efficient and effective operations while aligning strategic goals with day-to-day functions. This position requires an individual with a strong background in cybersecurity services, operations management, and leadership within a high-growth, technical environment. Key Responsibilities: Operational Strategy & Leadership Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's mission, vision, and growth objectives. Collaborate with the executive team to establish organizational goals, KPIs, and performance metrics to ensure scalability and quality. Drive operational excellence by fostering a culture of continuous improvement across all business units. Service Delivery & Quality Assurance Oversee the delivery of cybersecurity services, including SOC, penetration testing, and compliance consulting, ensuring service quality and client satisfaction. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring best practices in security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management. Monitor service performance and quality, implementing corrective actions as necessary to achieve performance objectives. Team Development & Management Lead, mentor, and grow the operations team, ensuring a skilled and motivated workforce. Collaborate with HR on recruiting, onboarding, and training programs tailored to cybersecurity roles. Foster an inclusive and high-performing team culture that supports professional development and retention. Process Optimization & Automation Identify, implement, and oversee process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve client satisfaction. Leverage automation and emerging technologies to streamline workflows, particularly in security monitoring, reporting, and compliance management. Financial Management Oversee the operations budget, monitor expenses, and contribute to financial forecasting and analysis. Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth within the operations function. Risk Management & Compliance Ensure the company complies with industry regulations and standards, including ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and others as applicable. Collaborate with the compliance team to manage regulatory risks, documentation, and audits. Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks. Qualifications: 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the cybersecurity or technology sector, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven experience with cybersecurity service delivery, including SOC operations, penetration testing, and compliance consulting. Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and regulatory compliance requirements. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and motivate high-performing teams. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and make data-driven decisions. Familiarity with automation tools and operational technologies relevant to cybersecurity.
