Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
2. Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
3. Experience in teaching product design at KS4/KS5 is preferable.
4. A background in art and design is an added bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
5. Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Design Technology with a focus on Resistant Materials.
6. Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm.
7. Plan, prepare, and assess students' work in line with the national curriculum.
8. Support and guide students through their coursework and examinations, particularly in product design at KS4 and KS5.
9. Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
