KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
1. Support High Life Highlands Learn to swim programme by delivering swimming
lessons according to the programme and timetable, ensuring classes
commence and finish at the designated time
2. Instruct and guide customers in accordance with National Governing Body
guidelines of good practice
3. Ensure the efficient and effective operation of sessions and responsible for
equipment set up, take down and security, where appropriate
4. Establish and maintain excellent relationships with our customers and potential
customers, handling and escalating complaints where appropriate
5. Carry out all administrative tasks associated with the position, including lesson
plans, schemes of work, class evaluations, continuous assessment of pupils
and class registers as required
6. Support Swimming Teachers in preparing lesson plans and a comprehensive
scheme of work that meets the requirements of the National Curriculum and
High Life Highland Learn to Swim Framework for teachers as required
7. Contribute to programme development through knowledge of customer needs.
8. Assist the members of the public in their use of the facilities, encouraging
maximum usage
9. Comply with High Life Highlands Code of Conduct and Role Model Behaviours
at all times
10. Ensure all concerns of a child safeguarding nature are referred in a timely and
appropriate manner, in accordance with High Life Highlands policy
11. Adhere to Health and Safety procedures, operating procedures, customer
service standards and uniform policy at all times
