Stirling Council is looking for a highly motivated individual to join their Sustainable Development Team as a Climate Change Assistant. This position presents an exciting opportunity to be part of the team transforming Stirling’s future through the Climate and Nature Emergency Plan programme. Key responsibilities of the post will be to assist in the development of smart performance monitoring systems to track a range of environmental indicators across the Stirling area to support better informed decision-making and to deliver key contributing projects.
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant field and will have experience of operating data platforms, systems and various software packages. You will be able to demonstrate that you have experience in analysing and collating complex data and effectively communicating technical information to others, with good written and organisational skills. You will have experience in managing projects, be able to work well with others, and be highly self-motivated. A full driver’s licence is essential for this role.
