Business Development Manager We are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join our forward-thinking and exciting agency. We are searching for a dynamic candidate who has a hunger to excel and help our progressive company evolve and expand to the next level. The ideal candidate must have a track record of business development and be able to give evidence of direct ways they have worked in previous roles to make a tangible difference. Job Overview The successful candidate will be a good team player who is experienced in identifying market opportunities, expanding current client relationships and importantly realising real results. We are looking for someone with great communication skills who can professionally interact with directors, team members and clients on a daily basis. We’re looking for a candidate who plans to stay and grow in their role and with the company long-term. Previous experience working with digital products such as websites and marketing or hospitality is a real plus but not essential. Responsibilities and Duties Analyse current and past financial performance, such as sales, and revenue, and provide strategies to cut costs and increase future revenue. Perform market research to identify new opportunities and engage with executives to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities. Use Linked Ineffectively to increase leads and opportunities for the business Perform product demos Following up on client leads Promoting a culture of growth through sales across the business Writing reports and analysing relevant business data Establish new partnerships and revenue streams Exploring market trends and competitors Create Sales proposals for our existing and new clients Active role in planning and influencing product development Attend Client meetings & Trade Shows Delivery and support of Sales Pitches Managing & Maintaining Sales Funnels and Tracking in Hubspot Prepare the company growth budgets and track to hit revenue targets Provide vision, training and mentoring to members of internal team Required Skills Qualification in marketing, business, accounting or related field 2years’experience working in a business development role Excellent written and verbal communication skills High Level of Emotional intelligence Able to demonstrate vision & leadership skills Top-notch analytical skills — you must have an eye for detail Able to travel to meet clients, attend conferences and research new markets as needed Experience Desired But Not Required Understanding of Websites and Marketing Experience in a creative agency environment Working in the Hospitality vertical Experience with Hubspot or similar CRM Experience writing business plans & performance reports Understanding of good design and digital trends
