Benefits: Company car Employee matched pension contribution Early finish on a Friday Remit: As a Quality Manager you will join a fast paced team, by leading the quality team you will ensure all quality activities are effectively managed and aligned with business objectives. This position with suit an experience Quality Manager or Senior Quality Engineer with proven experience within the automotive industry, alongside a hands-on approach to managing automotive quality systems and a passion with working within a tight knit quality team. Role: Lead and direct all quality activities within the business to ensure alignment with company goals and standards. Effectively communicate at all levels of the business, both internally and externally. Manage the ongoing maintenance and accreditation of ISO9001:2015, ensuring compliance with business needs. Oversee quality system processes in line with IATF16949:2016 manufacturing environment. Utilize tools including APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Charts, and PPAP for process management and improvement. Conduct quality inspections, analyse results, and implement corrective actions when necessary. Perform root cause analysis and manage non-conformity issues. Collaborate cross-functionally with various departmental disciplines to maintain and improve quality standards across the business. Demonstrate independence and a hands-on approach to managing quality systems and leading the quality team Cross functional teamwork approach involving all departmental disciplines. You will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation. Experience Requirements: Proven experience in quality management within the automotive industry. Strong background in managing automotive quality systems with direct experience of ISO9001:2015 and IATF16949:2016 environments. Proficiency in APQP, including PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Charts, and PPAP. Understanding of CMM would be advantageous Strong skills in root cause analysis and non-conformity management. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams at all levels. A self-motivated, independent, and hands-on approach to managing quality systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
