Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 DOE

The role and opportunity
In this dynamic and varied role, you will be responsible for a wide range of financial tasks and administrative duties for a leading manufacturing company in Rotherham. Assisting with accounts payable and receivable, you’ll be handling weekly billing, including recharges and consignment stock, along with:
4. Performing journal entries and miscellaneous data entry tasks
5. Submitting various reports and assisting with financial audits
6. Managing the submission of Rotherham overtime to payroll
7. Setting up new suppliers and handling VAT-related tasks
8. Providing support for ad hoc duties as needed
Ideal Candidate
It goes without saying that, as our ideal candidate, you’ll have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal along with a great understanding of Microsoft office packages. You will have an AAT qualification or equivalent, along with proven experience as a Finance Assistant or in a similar role, especially with VAT experience. Further to this, you’ll have:

10. The ability to prioritise tasks effectively
11. Strong attention to detail with a professional demeanour
12. A solid working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and Oracle
