Allied and Community Health Service
Our Allied and Community Health Teams are multi-disciplinary teams who work together towards the common goal of improving health outcomes of our community members. Services are based in Port Augusta and Whyalla, with regular outreach clinics held in Roxby Downs, Quorn, Hawker, Maree, and Leigh Creek. We offer a wide range of centre-based, in-home, and community-based services to people of all ages and tailor our services to best meet our client needs.

About the Role :
The Nurse Unit Manager – Theatre is a key leadership position where your clinical expertise and experience will guide and inspire a team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a dynamic theatre environment. In this role, you will take charge of coordinating and managing patient care within a Health Unit or Community Service, ensuring that every aspect of care is aligned with best practices to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
As a Nurse Unit Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and excellence across nursing, midwifery, and allied health services. You will be accountable for the outcomes of both individual and team performance, driving continuous improvements, and ensuring policies and practices are consistently upheld. With a focus on building a positive and supportive work culture, this role offers the chance to make a significant impact on patient care, team development, and overall service delivery. About You :
* Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse / Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
* Registered Nurse and / or Midwife with at least 3 years post-registration experience.
* Demonstrated competence in Theatre or relevant area of nursing and / or midwifery practice in accordance with the relevant standards.
* Experience in management and leadership roles.
* Experience in the supervision of students, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses and / or midwives.
