Role – Project Delivery Manager Location – Basingstoke Salary – up to £75,000 The Opportunity: We are looking for a Project Delivery Manager to join an innovative business. The role is offered on a hybrid working arrangement with 3 days a week in the Basingstoke headquarters and 2 days a week from home. You'll play a key role in the delivery of successful technology programmes working with the Change & Projects Team, Internal stakeholders and external technology providers. The Role: As the Project Delivery Manager, you'll be a key part of the Change & Projects Team and will be dedicated to delivering high-quality business change, technical product improvements and ensuring that delivery aligns with the strategic product roadmap. You'll be working across all areas of the business and any experience across Loans, Savings, Mortgage or other Financial Services product lines would be a significant bonus but there will also be key projects around HR, Finance, Risk & Compliance so the ability to multi-task across a range of projects is essential. You will: - Lead Project Delivery and essential to this is that you'll really drive project execution - Act as the main contact between the product change team and stakeholders and it's essential that you can manage stakeholders and on occasion be able to deliver difficult news - Collaborate with 3rd parties and manage them effectively. A number of the key technology platforms are customised off the shelf packages and you'll need to manage those providers and ensure they're meeting deadlines and timescales - Inspire the internal delivery teams and know that you're championing their work and enabling their performance - Manage risks, ensure quality and ensure that project governance is in place - Align outcomes with goals and carefully manage changes to the initial project definition The Person: You'll have at least 5 years' experience in Project Management and Delivery Management in an Agile, Waterfall, Kanban or SAFe methodology. You'll be able to manage multiple concurrent projects and be experienced in risk management and mitigation. Key to this is that the person really gets into the depth of tasks and the resources working on the project. The person will have a real delivery mindset and not just be process orientated. You'll need to be comfortable both challenging people and being challenged. This role is paying up to £75,000, plus bonus, plus benefits.
