The project:
A project manager opportunity to be part of the new prisons programme team, working collaboratively from inception to completion. The successful candidate will lead projects through various RIBA stages, coordinate site surveys, and liaise with multidisciplinary teams.
The role involves providing project management across all stages to meet cost, time, and quality targets. This position is within our consultancy sector, specifically focusing on justice projects.
This role suits candidates seeking to advance their careers in major, fast-paced projects. The project emphasizes health, safety, BIM, digital construction, sustainability, social value, and innovation, serving as a catalyst for industry-wide change.
The position is part of a multidisciplinary team including design, commercial, sustainability, and utilities management, across multiple sites nationwide, leading the Ministry of Justice’s portfolio.
This client-facing role involves developing client strategies, assisting in team appointments, and ensuring project delivery aligns with client objectives and Mace values.

Qualifications and experience required:
* Proven project management experience with small to medium projects.
* Strong communication, planning, and budgeting skills.
* Understanding of construction methodologies, sector regulations, and health & safety standards.
* Technical qualifications such as RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE, or equivalent.
* Experience in property or infrastructure project delivery, stakeholder management, and team mentorship.
