Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical projects at Gatwick Airport. This is an exciting opportunity to manage high-profile projects at one of the busiest airports in the UK.
Electrical Project Manager Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead, plan, and execute electrical projects at Gatwick Airport, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within scope, time, and budget.
2. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
3. Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
4. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and electrical regulations, maintaining the highest safety standards.
5. Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues or delays.
6. Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including airport management, contractors, and clients, providing regular project updates.
7. Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
8. Resolve project issues, ensuring prompt and effective solutions to minimize downtime or disruption.
9. Review and approve designs, electrical schematics, and project documentation.
10. Ensure all project reporting, including progress reports, budgets, and schedules, are kept up to date and accurately recorded.
Electrical Project Manager Requirements:
1. Valid ECS card
2. SMSTS
3. At least 5 years of experience managing electrical projects, with a proven track record in the aviation, infrastructure, or commercial sectors.
4. Strong understanding of electrical systems, project management methodologies, and safety regulations.
5. Experience with large-scale project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
6. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
8. Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
9. Knowledge of working in regulated environments, such as airports, is highly desirable.
10. Full UK driving license.
