Early applications are encouraged as the school reserves the right to appoint at any stage during the process.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff and volunteers are expected to share this commitment.
Applicants will undergo child protection screening, including a DBS check, as this role involves 'regulated activity' with children. Employment is conditional upon the satisfactory outcome of these checks.
The school will also check the Children's Barred List. It is unlawful to employ anyone barred from working with children, and applying to work while barred is a criminal offense. This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974; therefore, applicants must declare all convictions and cautions, including those that are 'spent' unless protected under DBS filtering rules.
