Knowsley and Halton Councils shared Building Control service continues to grow with an increasing market share. An opportunity has arisen to join this dynamic team. You will be joining at a key time in this journey and you would play a key role in ensuring the partnership’s continued success.
You will undertake a full range of building control duties across a variety of large and small-scale domestic and commercial projects. You will also respond to emergency call outs across both Halton and Knowsley to investigate and recommend action in relation to dangerous structures.
A degree in Building Control or a relevant subject is required and you must be registered as RBI level 2 A-F minimum as well as having experience of managing a caseload of Building Control applications including plan checking and site inspection.
