Call Conor O ’ Hagan for more details Excellent Salary and benefits package on offer The Role: As the Maintenance Manager, you will demonstrate technical expertise and the ability to engage and motivate your team. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the maintenance and improvement of plant and facilities to ensure continuous and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for leading and developing the Maintenance Engineers and Coordinators, who will report directly to you. Duties include: Lead and develop the maintenance personnel to achieve the highest standards of engineering discipline, focusing activity on strategic and business unit goals to develop a culture of continuous improvement. Ensure that plant and facilities are maintained to the highest standards to continually improve efficiency, productivity, and safety. Regularly review engineering practices, procedures and systems using Maintenance Software to effectively control stock levels and material usage. Provide support to manufacturing management by effectively diagnosing and resolving operational issues with manufacturing equipment keeping downtime to a minimum. Ensure machines are set to the harmonized settings including the methods to accomplish this. Regularly review and improve maintenance and engineering practices and procedures (e.g. how to set and measure a machine). Liaise with contractors and suppliers. Support the Engineering Manager with CEA projects including investigation, setting specifications, obtaining quotations, installation, and commissioning to enhance current operating capability. Participate in the investigation process for any product problems to resolve issues to the customer ’ s satisfaction. Participate in quality and QUEST meetings to contribute to the development of quality and environmental improvements. Participate in training, meetings and develop relationships with work colleagues throughout the company in order that all parties can benefit from developments and knowledge. Keep technical and product knowledge up to date, to ensure that Interface is best placed to remain at the forefront of developments in the tufting arena. The Person: It is anticipated that the successful candidate will come from a similar background and will be looking for the next challenge in their career. Self-starting and motivated, applicants will also need to satisfy the following: HND or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline. Proven experience in the implementation and use of a Maintenance Management System. Proven experience of successfully managing a maintenance team, typically gained in a Manufacturing environment. Competent in IT software including Excel, AutoCAD, Approach, SCADA, MS Project (or equivalents) Proven fault finding and diagnostic skills. The Package: Excellent salary depending on experience.
