We are looking for a high-quality professional that has the highest expectations of themselves and our pupils. If you provide high-quality teaching and have a natural enthusiasm for improving the life chances of our children then this could be the role for you.
About the Role
We wish to recruit someone who shares our vision that, through learning, pupils’ curiosity and imagination will be fired up, allowing them to become questioning individuals who are confidently able to take part in a democratic society. As an MFL Teacher at our academy you will be expected to ensure, through effective teaching and learning, that all pupils are inspired to achieve outstanding progress.
This role is suitable for either experienced professionals who wish to progress their career or for ECTs who want to begin their career in a learning-rich environment.
About You
We are looking for someone who will:
* Engage and enthuse our learners through a commitment to outstanding teaching and learning
* Contribute to the further development of a strong and forward-looking team
* Be innovative in their techniques to motivate and inspire young people
* Build positive relationships with staff, pupils, and parents alike.
About Us
Weston Favell Academy is a “Good” school and is making substantial improvements in all areas. The MFL Department is a high-performing team with excellent outcomes and strong leadership. In addition, our growing Sixth Form is sending ever-increasing numbers of students onto prestigious universities and high-quality apprenticeships as our results improve. This is the second consecutive year of significant improvement, and we are confident this upward trend will continue.
It is our goal to equip young people with the qualifications, skills, and characteristics that will help them to achieve their aspirations. We are a supportive team, committed to ensuring that our learners fulfill their potential despite any barriers they may face. We are looking for equally passionate practitioners to join our team.
