Copello have partnered with an established engineering business in the recruitment of a Part-time Compliance Manager based in Burridge, ideally 3 days a week.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of output aligns with customer or project requirements and driving continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Acting as the Quality Management Representative, promoting customer requirements, maintaining the Business Management System (BMS), and reporting on its performance.
2. Planning and managing internal audits to meet AS9100, ISO9001, and ISO27001 standards.
3. Auditing products and processes to ensure business processes are implemented effectively and delivering results.
4. Managing external audits from customers and certification bodies.
5. Handling non-conformance: documenting, managing, and driving corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
6. Reviewing and implementing quality processes to ensure company products and services meet customer expectations and are cost-effective.
7. Managing the Approved Supplier List (ASL).
8. Collaborating with project teams to ensure customer requirements are met and delivered on time.
9. Acting as the Information Security Management Representative (ISMS).
10. Promoting a quality-focused culture within the business.
Role Requirements:
1. Full UK driving license with the ability to travel within the UK and internationally as required.
2. Ability to obtain and maintain SC level Security clearance.
Qualifications / Skills:
1. Degree-qualified (preferably in business or a related field), or relevant industry experience.
2. Qualified auditor, ideally with IRCA lead auditor certification.
3. Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and industry standards such as ISO9001, AS9100, and ISO27001.
