To support customer demand, we are currently seeking two HGV Class 1 Drivers at our Hams Hall depot.
Rate of pay: £ per hour, plus a weekly shift allowance of £
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times - all daily checks are completed, and any vehicle defects are reported
2. Ensure the correct goods have been loaded and are secure before moving the vehicle
3. Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law (including drivers working time regulations)
4. Double check deliveries with the customer whilst providing a polite and helpful experience. Obtain relevant signatures and paperwork before returning to your home depot
What are we looking for?
5. Someone with a C+E driving licence, a valid in date DigiTacho and CPC
6. Previous Class 1 driving experience
7. Someone who can lift up to 18kg
8. You to be able to communicate clearly with other team members in English
