YOUR ROLE:
As HR Manager, youll work closely with the Managing Director to create and implement HR strategies that support business growth, employee engagement, and compliance. Leading a small team, youll ensure the workforce is well:supported, trained, and aligned with company values.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Driving HR initiatives, from recruitment and retention to employee well:being.
* Overseeing training and development, ensuring structured onboarding and career progression.
* Supporting managers with performance management, employee relations, and compliance
* Leading health and safety policies, working closely with the H and S Manager.
* Fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR:
* Proven HR leadership experience in construction or similar industries.
* Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance.
* Experience managing health and safety and training functions.
* Excellent leadership, problem:solving, and interpersonal skills.
* Ideally CIPD Level 5 (or above)
* Full UK driving licence.
