Morgan McKinley, Northern Home Counties is proud to be supporting a dynamic distribution business in Northamptonshire. They are seeking an experienced and hands-on Management Accountant, who can work in a fast-paced environment.
The Management Accountant role is a minimum of 3 months contract.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Month end Management Accounts
2. Monitor KPI's, highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variances and making recommendations for improvement
3. Ownership of the balance sheet reconciliation. Ensuring that all accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis
Person Specification
1. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
2. Strong Excel skills
3. Self-motivated, flexible can-do attitude; works well under pressure, on own initiative and in a team environment
4. Sage/Sage 200 experience
5. Ability to prioritise workload and keep to strict deadlines
6. Excellent attention to detail
