Weare looking for someone able to offer sessions between the hours of 7am -8pmMonday Friday and 9am - 5pm on a Saturday, along with a competitive salary andNHS Pension.
We have a fully embedded and comprehensiveadditional roles scheme, which consists of Pharmacists, Pharmacy technicians,Physiotherapy, Mental health practitioners, Social Prescribers, ParamedicPractitioners, which enables our GPs and other health care professionals todedicate to deliver the right care at the right time by the right person.
Main duties of the job
As asalaried GP, you will support the four GP partners to manage a busy,interesting clinical caseload ensuring the highest standard of care for allregistered and temporary patients. The post holder will carry out all theduties reasonably expected of an NHS general practitioner using the standardsexpected by the GMC.

Job responsibilities
Thefollowing are the core responsibilities of the salaried GP. There may be onoccasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent uponfactors such as workload and staffing levels.
Provide highly effective medical care topatients - to include clinical sessions, clinical admin and other duties asdirected by the management team.
Effective management of long term conditions.
Maintain accurate clinical records inconjunction with good practice, policy and guidance.
Work as a team member with all relevantproviders of primary and community care services.
Generic prescribing adhering to local andnational guidelines.
Adhere to best practice recommended throughclinical guidelines and the audit process.
Processing of administration in a timely manner,including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associatedadministrative tasks
Accept delegated responsibilities for QOF andcommissioner improvement programmes.
Support the management team in achieving thestrategic aims of the practice, making recommendations to enhance income andreduce expenditure.
Actively participate in local clinicalgovernance processes.
Develop and maintain clinical skills andabilities through CPD and participate in yearly appraisal to identify furthereducation, training and development needs.
Encourage collaborative working, liaising withall staff regularly, promoting a culture of continuous improvement at alltimes.
Supervise and participate in the training of thenursing staff and other members of the clinical team within the practice.
Participate in medical, nursing and alliedprofessions student training.
Participate in practice audits as requested bythe Practice.
