As a key player in our finance team, you will take ownership of financial analysis, reporting, and process optimization. You will work in collaboration with diverse teams across the region and at the group level, developing tools and systems—including Power BI and other data analytics solutions—to support better decision-making and enhance financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Accounting
* Lead the financial reporting and accounting processes for multiple business units and countries, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, timely reporting, and full compliance with IFRS and group policies.
* Conduct comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations reviews, ensuring risk identification and timely adjustments for accurate financial records.
* Oversee and ensure the proper application of long-term contract accounting rules (e.g., revenue recognition, percentage of completion, IFRS 15, ASC 606).
* Manage working capital elements, including accounts receivables, inventory management, unbilled work, and job costing accounting methodology.
* Own the preparation and consolidation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, including balance sheet flux analysis, working capital, and cashflow reporting, leveraging existing financial tools and developing future BI capabilities.
* Collaborate closely with country finance teams to ensure alignment with group-level accounting policies and reporting procedures.
* Provide financial audit support, working with both internal and external auditors to ensure full compliance.
* Utilize tools like Blackline for account reconciliations, standardizing, controlling, and streamlining the reconciliation process of the inscope countries.
* Process Improvement & Tool Development
* Work alongside the Director of Controllership and the team to enhance financial controls and reporting processes, identifying areas for automation and process standardization across the finance function.
* Take a hands-on approach to developing and improving financial monitoring tools such as Power BI and Excel, expanding the BI tool landscape for better tracking and performance analysis (e.g., CAPEX).
* Implement financial process automation and system integration across key financial functions to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and reduce manual workloads.
* Develop financial dashboards and performance tracking systems, providing insights into business performance and trends.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Act as the key point of contact for country finance teams, ensuring consistent alignment on accounting policies, procedures, and reporting.
* Partner closely with Group Controllership and FP&A teams to support strategic financial initiatives and drive impactful decisions at the executive level.
* Provide financial insights and respond to inquiries from senior leadership, assisting in data-driven decision-making.
* Play a key role in Securitas Technology's transformation journey, using your financial expertise to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
* Serve as the point of reference between Securitas Group accounting and European headquarters (HR, Finance, IT), ensuring a best-in-class reporting framework across the division.
Qualifications & Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* 5-7 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or controllership roles, ideally within a multinational environment. Experience in Big 4 public accounting is a plus.
* Strong understanding of balance sheet reconciliation processes and long-term contract accounting(especially IFRS 15, ASC 606).
* Expertise in financial tools such as Power BI, Excel, SAP, Oracle, and financial reporting systems. Proficiency in developing financial dashboards and performance tracking systems is highly desirable.
* Advanced Excel skills, including knowledge of pivot tables, macros, and financial modelling, are a must.
* Demonstrated ability to conduct variance analysis, forecasting, and financial modelling.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights to leadership.
* High level of adaptability, able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across diverse teams and cultures.
* Proactive and self-starter with a hands-on attitude, able to independently manage financial processes and drive improvements without constant supervision.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on time in a high-pressure environment.
* Knowledgeable in financial forecasting, budgeting, and project ownership.
* Preferred Qualifications:
o Familiarity with Hyperion, CCH Tagetik, or other financial planning and reporting software.
o Experience with financial process automation and data visualization tools.
o Fluency in English is required; proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
o Experience in job costing accounting methodology and understanding of its application within complex business environments.
