Are you ready to build a career in administration and make an impact supporting Early Career Teachers (ECTs) within our trust? The Leigh Institute is seeking an enthusiastic Administrator Apprentice who will play a key role in supporting the ECT program. From assisting schools with registration and managing data to organizing events and maintaining records, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a dynamic team.
What You’ll Do
Facilitate the ECT onboarding process and support partner communication
Maintain and organize essential data, spreadsheets, and quality assurance timetables
Provide top-notch, professional service via email, phone, and in person
Coordinate logistics for meetings and training sessions (both in-person and online)
Be a welcoming point of contact for the ECT team and our partners
This role is offered as an 18-month apprenticeship contract and our successful candidate will work towards a nationally-recognised Level 3 Business Administration qualification, delivered by LAT Apprenticeships.
Apprenticeship Summary:
Annual wage: £11,502 per annum (£13,725 Full Time Equivalent)
Working week: Monday - Thursday, 8.30am – 4.30pm / Friday, 8.30am - 4.00pm
Total hours per week: 37 (including the 20% training element of the Apprenticeship), Term Time Only
Apprenticeship duration: Approx.18 months
Anticipated start date: As soon as possible
Apprenticeship level: Advanced Level Apprenticeship (Level 3)
Apprenticeship standard: Business & Administration
Positions: 1 available
Desired entry qualifications: GCSE grade C/4 or above in Maths, English and ICT

This role is based at our Strood Academy office with options for some home working.
