Job Title : Band 7 Sonographer Banding: Band 7 Location : Edinburgh Start: 1 0 February 2025 End date: 10 May 2025 Duration : Full time Rate : £ 45 - £ 52 per hour Working hours: Monday- Friday, 08:30am-16:30pm We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 7 Sonographer to join our clients team in Edinburgh. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and professional environment, providing high-quality sonography services to our client's patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing detailed ultrasound examinations, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high standards of care. What will your responsibilities be : As a Band 7 Sonographer, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive ultrasound examinations, interpreting results, and providing accurate reports. You will ensure the safe operation of ultrasound equipment, adhere to best practices and protocols, and maintain detailed patient records. Your role will also involve preparing patients for procedures, explaining the process, and addressing any concerns they may have. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated care and contribute to the continuous improvement of our sonography services. Qualifications and Experiences: Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent HCPC registration Postgraduate qualification in Sonography Minimum of 3 years' experience in sonography Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and interpreting images Experience in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, and General sonography Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care Why work with Pulse?
