Job Summary Mayfield Alpacas at Ringinglow, Sheffield, S10 are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and kitchen management, with a flair for creativity and a commitment to excellence in hospitality. Ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. Responsibilities Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the cafe's menu and standards. Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and timely service. Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with management on menu development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations. Implement cost control measures to optimise food production while minimising waste. Engage with guests to understand their preferences and provide exceptional dining experiences. Qualifications Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen equipment operation. A passion for cooking. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and guests. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Job Type: Full-time & Part time positions available Pay: £13.00 - £14.50 depending upon experience Times of work – 7.30am – 3.30pm daily
