We are currently recruiting for assembly/ semi skilled operatives for a refurbishment company in Fulwood, Preston area, on temporary to permanent basis.
The company is looking for candidates that would have some transferable skills in manufacturing, mechanical and engineering background or at entry levels with looking to progress and learn new skills in return offering full time contract with training provided.
Your skills and experiences would be discussed at interview stage to determinate the role and responsibilities.
Responsibilities of the assembly/ semi skilled operatives
General house keeping
Pressure washing of products and final clean of finished goods
Disassemble and assembly of parts following the processing manuals
Use of power and hand tools
Manual handling
Recording or work being carries out on company systems
Relevant training may be given if required to work in other areas of the warehouse.
Requirements of the assembly/ semi skilled operatives
Attention to detail
Good accuracy and organisational skills
Ability to work to target
Working at own initiative and within a team
Good communication skills, speaking, reading and writing
Working hours
First few weeks Monday to Thursday 7:30AM - 4PM, Friday 7:30AM - 3PM (training period)
After the training period a rotation shift to be offered Monday to Thursday, between 6AM-2PM & 2PM-10PM and Friday 2PM -8PM
