Job Title: Lead Site Services Engineer
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum
Shift: Monday - Friday, Day Shift (8:00 am - 4:30 pm)

Role Overview:
As the Lead Services Engineer, you will be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of essential services systems, including cooling, transport, compressed air, and vacuum systems. You will lead a team of engineers and technicians to ensure these systems run smoothly, minimizing downtime and optimizing performance. This role is critical to maintaining our operational efficiency and supporting production.
Key Responsibilities for the Lead Site Services Engineer:
1. Oversee and maintain cooling and transport systems, compressed air, and vacuum systems.
2. Lead a team of maintenance engineers, providing guidance, support, and development.
3. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on key systems.
4. Diagnose and resolve system faults quickly to minimize production interruptions.
5. Collaborate with the production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
6. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase system efficiency and reduce operational costs.
7. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards, particularly in areas related to cooling and compressed air systems.
8. Maintain detailed logs and reports of maintenance activities, system performance, and any repairs conducted.
Requirements for the Lead Site Services Engineer:
1. Proven experience as a Site Services/Lead Services Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
2. Strong expertise in cooling and transport systems, compressed air, and vacuum systems.
3. Excellent mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
4. Ability to lead and motivate a team, with experience in managing maintenance staff.
5. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
6. Engineering qualifications (NVQ, HND, or equivalent) in mechanical or electrical engineering.
7. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
