Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Job Duties:
1. Supporting classroom teachers in delivering lessons
2. Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials
3. Working with individual students or small groups on specific tasks
4. Providing additional support for students with special educational needs
5. Supervising students during class and break times
6. Assisting with administrative tasks as required
Required Qualifications:
7. GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
8. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Education:
9. Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience:
10. Prior experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable
Knowledge and Skills:
11. Good communication and interpersonal skills
12. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
13. Basic understanding of child development and learning processes
14. Strong organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
15. Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
16. First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
17. Full-time position, Monday to Friday during school hours
18. Work primarily in classroom settings
19. May require occasional participation in school events or meetings outside of regular hours
