Job Description:
I am currently recruiting for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join a multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Bury St Edmunds. The company delivers projects within a range of sectors, with project values up to £40M.
This role requires a Senior Architectural Technologist with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience, aimed at a Mid to Senior level candidate working within a multi-disciplinary consultancy, ideally with multi-sector experience. The successful candidate should also have an excellent understanding of UK building regulations. This role requires the Senior Architectural Technologist to use their strong REVIT & CAD skills to produce designs as per requirements.
* Prepare and coordinate design, production, and construction package information with attention to detail
* Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, NBS, and BIM360 is desirable
* Good working knowledge of construction methods and Building Regulations
* Liaison with internal and external consultants in the production of specialist design information
* Liaison with planning & building control authorities
* Review and update design risk assessments regularly
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
* Able to take the initiative to solve technical issues
* Keen to work in a team environment, but also happy to work independently
* Dynamic, flexible, and able to work under pressure with excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Fully proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
* Experience of detailing complex buildings and producing comprehensive working drawing packages
* Live within a commutable distance of Bury St Edmunds
* Ability to work on projects autonomously
* Help junior members of the team
* Experience of working on UK developments with good knowledge of Building Regulations
