Job summary
We are seeking two multi skilled assistants to provide a high quality domestic and catering service at Stratford Hospital in Warwickshire.
The assistants will maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with the specification. Attention to detail is key.
The working hours total, working 5 days out of 7 which could includeworking on Saturdays and Sundays. Working pattern for hours per day between07:00-21:00 is to be confirmed.
References and a DBS check will be required before the roles commence.
Main duties of the job
You will be using a variety ofcleaning materials & will be required to manoeuvre trolleys containingcleaning equipment & mechanical cleaning equipment.
To maintain the standards of cleanliness & hygiene & clean and safeequipment in accordance with our client's specification & to be responsive to serviceneeds as they arrive.
These duties will be carriedout both in patient, & non-patient environments & may also entailspecialised cleaning tasks.
Constantly seek to improve the productivity andquality of the service.
All work must be undertaken inline with health, safety, security and Company and Trust policies andprocedures, including infection control.
The role is physically demanding and staff will be on their feet for the duration of their shift.
The post holder may work in anenvironment where they could be exposed to sensitive circumstances.
Food preparation area ensuringpatient meals are made ready & collated together in readiness for transportation to the wards. Required to manoeuvre & transport trolleys of food products & lift large, heavy boxes of food products.
Staff will be exposed to coldtemperatures when retrieving food products from fridges & freezers.
Weprovide full training, so experience is not necessary, but we seek individuals who will demonstrate excellent service & understand how importanttheir role is in contributing to a patient receiving an excellent experience inhospital.
