For many fans of Formula One, the sport exists between lights and chequered flag on a Sunday afternoon. It begins and ends with the exploits of the drivers on the track. But this is merely the tip of the spear. The reality of modern F1 is that of a complex and intertwined operation, every part of which needs to perform near its limit if success is to be achieved. From the pit crew searching for the ultimate repeatable pit stop, to the inspiration of the designers, the application of engineers and the herculean efforts of an army of fabricators and machinists. Much of our success is thanks to the diversity of thought and spectrum of skill sets held within the team; our ability to recognise unique contributions from individual team members is just a part of why we love what we do.
Job Description
Red Bull Powertrains are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join the team. You will be based at our state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing facility in Milton Keynes which is designed to deliver high-performance Power Units for the 2026 engine regulations.
At Red Bull Powertrains, you’ll be at the heart of an exhilarating, high-performance team, driving the success of a race-winning operation and playing a key role in our world-class logistics. Get ready for occasional travel to global events where every detail counts. If you have a passion for motorsport, a keen eye for precision, and an unwavering commitment to excellence, this is your chance to make an impact with the best in the pit lane!
The role:

* Manage the receipt of all event returns, ensuring they are processed and distributed to the relevant departments
* Book third-party logistics and collaborate with our transport department to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
* Operate in compliance with Known Consignor and Dangerous Goods guidelines
* Work with the appointed Freight Agent to manage air, sea, and road shipments
* Assist in the unloading of freight at events, checking for damage and ensuring all equipment is safely brought into the building
* Prepare shipping documentation in line with the shipping agent’s requirements, including compliance with CAA and IATA regulations for hazardous shipment
* Help coordinate the introduction of new equipment, ensuring it fits within required spaces and adheres to weight restrictions
* Maintain an accurate inventory of all equipment in each freight shipment, whether by sea, road, or air
* Manage the stocking of race team consumables and collaborate with the requisitions department to ensure timely purchasing and stock availability
What we need from you:
* Excellent communication skills and a reasonable degree of computer literacy
* Willingness to work occasional unsociable hours
* Predominantly factory-based with occasional travel to global events
* Training in the packing of Dangerous Goods is an advantage
* Proactive approach to problem-solving plus exceptional organisational skills
* A deep sense of accountability, collaborative spirit and exceptional reliability
Not only is this a fantastic Logistics Coordinator role, but it is also a fantastic team to work with here at Red Bull Powertrains. A good salary is just the start; there are many other benefits too such as our bonus scheme, private health care cover, life assurance scheme, workplace nursery scheme, company contributed pension scheme, on site gym & fitness classes, free daily food allowance, and a cycle to work scheme; but above all, the job satisfaction doesn’t get any better than the feeling of making a real contribution to our championship winning grand prix cars.
