Maintenance Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician required to join a global, market-leading specialist hire company.
The Maintenance Engineer / Installation Engineer / Service Engineer will be based at Portsmouth Navy Base performing scheduled repair and maintenance on electrical systems related to solutions for dust control, fume extraction, ventilation, noise barriers, water treatment, environmental monitoring, and climate control.
The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, NVQ Level 4, 18th edition, HNC/HND, City & Guilds 2396, 2391, 2382, a degree or master's in Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent electrical qualification. Full product training provided.

Role Responsibilities:
1. Performing scheduled repair and maintenance on electrical systems related to solutions for dust control, fume extraction, ventilation, noise barriers, water treatment, environmental monitoring, and climate control.
2. Execute repairs on a variety of electrical systems, including rewiring, replacing faulty components, and repairing damaged equipment, to restore functionality.
3. Ensuring all repairs and installations meet the high standards of the customers, with a focus on maintaining workplace safety and adhering to industry regulations.
4. Site-based, located at Portsmouth Navy Base.
5. Liaise with various engineering departments.
Requirements:
1. Apprentice trained NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, NVQ Level 4, 18th edition, HNC/HND, City & Guilds 2396, 2391, 2382, a degree or master's in Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent electrical qualification.
2. Experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Installation Engineer, Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Service Technician, Field Service Technician or similar with an electrical bias.
3. Strong customer-facing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and provide technical support as needed.
4. Previous experience working on a military base or with naval operations would be advantageous.
5. Clean DBS check.
6. Based in Hampshire and willing to commute to the naval base in Portsmouth daily.
