Job responsibilities
You will ensure a high standard of patient care is delivered in an effective and efficient manner in an environment which promotes equality and sensitivity for all individuals, reflecting the overall philosophy & values of the service. To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in line with local and national guidelines ensuring that this is appropriately, adequately, and safely documented. To carry out nursing procedures, maintain patient comfort, dignity, and privacy at all times.
Person Specification
Experience
* Registered Nurse with live NMC Pin
* Commitment to ongoing professional development
* Evidence of knowledge and skills to post grad level in the following areas:
* Able to make judgements based on evidence-based practice and translate this for use in the ward environment
* Demonstrate understanding of current developments in the NHS and their implications for nursing and quality care for patients
* Able to communicate sensitive information to patients and break difficult news
* Demonstrate strong leadership/managerial knowledge and skills

£29,970 to £36,483 a year pro rata, per annum
