My client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in automotive or manufacturing, particularly in Trim & Final operations. This role involves coordinating the final assembly team, ensuring seamless alignment of parts and timings, while also playing a key role in upskilling teams on OPC or Primavera P6.
The GME Site Integration team provides hands-on services and support to the wider GME technology teams, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and cross-functional integration of all projects. The aim is to drive successful project delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, supporting the Reimagined product portfolio and Solihull site strategy.
This is a year Contract paying £320 a day Inside Ir35. Location Solihull - Hybrid 3 days a week in office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and integrate site-based industrialisation projects across GME technology areas.
* Conduct technical and financial programme reviews, including gateway readiness, launch cadence, and executive reviews.
* Report on manufacturing inputs and capital investment alignment.
* Host and lead cross-functional reviews to address programme challenges using issue management tools (e.g., Obstacle Boards, AIM).
* Work with stakeholders to identify and implement GME technology requirements for industrialisation projects.
* Represent GME at key programme reviews as needed.
What You’ll Need:
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
* Project or programme management experience (PCDS awareness).
* Background in manufacturing, particularly Trim & Final operations.
* Proficiency in schedule management tools such as OPC or Primavera P6.
* Agile competence and a proactive approach to embracing new methodologies.
