Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Assistant to support our Commercial Manager in contract management, supplier relations, performance analysis, and stakeholder communications. This role involves managing contract requests, monitoring waste contracts, analysing waste flows, and assisting with supplier onboarding. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong commercial awareness, time management, teamwork, and critical thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage contract requests, purchase orders, and subcontractor KPIs.
2. Resolve supplier issues, ensure SLA compliance, and support onboarding.
3. Monitor financial aspects of contracts and assist with performance claims.
4. Monitor waste contracts and provide insights for improvement.
5. Prepare waste flow summaries, ensuring accurate rates for disposal and haulage.
6. Support monthly reporting, including Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
Analysis & Reporting:
1. Monitor KPIs and contract performance, offering revenue growth and cost reduction insights.
2. Prepare reconciliation statements and ensure compliance with government incentives.
3. Transition to data-driven reporting and support automation initiatives.
4. Work with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and support procurement.
General Support:
1. Assist the Commercial Manager during absences and support finance with cost/revenue accruals.
Experience & Skills:
1. Prior experience in a similar role preferred.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI and SAP knowledge advantageous.
3. Strong commercial awareness, time management, and attention to detail.
4. Proactive and collaborative with strong interpersonal skills.
