Spinwell is recruiting for an Occupational Health Support for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SUPPORT
* Provide day-to-day administrative support within the People & OD business area, including arranging appointments, interviews, and greeting staff and members of the public when required.
* Collate reports and slides, schedule meetings chaired by People & OD senior managers, and produce agendas and meeting actions.
* Responsible for uploading information to department MS Teams areas, SharePoint, Intranet sites, Trent, Oleeo, patient management system, and other systems to ensure up-to-date and accurate record keeping.
* Support the administration and delivery of the People Strategy and associated strategies, projects, and initiatives.
* Assist with key departmental responsibilities, including Fairness at Work, Attendance & Performance processes, DAP, Part Time & Flexible Working, Recruitment, and Workforce planning processes.
* Collate and submit management information accurately and timely to aid strategic decision-making and compliance with Home Office, statutory, and legislative requirements.
* Develop knowledge, understanding, and competence across a range of People & OD processes.
* Respond competently and independently to queries and requests for information and advice.
* Provide administrative cover for other teams within the People & OD Business area and for other force areas as required.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SUPPORT
* Familiar with the principles of the Data Protection Act.
* Demonstrate proficiency at working to a high degree of accuracy and show attention to detail.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word for word processing and Excel and PowerPoint for data manipulation and reporting.
* Effective keyboard inputting skills for data inputting and retrieval.
* Previous experience of delivering high standards of service to internal and external customers.
* Experience in collation and evaluation of information and ability to elicit information through research of systems.
* Prepared and able to develop knowledge of procedures and legislation relevant to the role.
* Proficient in the use of internet and intranet.
* Possess G.C.S.E’s Grades A - C in Mathematics and English Language, or have proven relevant experience to a comparable level in numeracy and literacy.
* Demonstrate a practical approach to problem-solving.
* Effective written and oral communication skills.
* Prepared to successfully complete all training and assessment required of the role.
