About the Role:
As Area Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of Development Managers across the Wirral. You will ensure their performance through coaching, training, and appraisals, thereby providing an effective and high-quality service to our residents. You will have responsibility for your patch, working closely with the other Area Manager to ensure consistency of message and approach. Additionally, you will ensure that essential KPIs are met and that all developments run smoothly.
The role involves ensuring that void and repair processes are followed and completed within agreed timescales, monitoring rent accounts, and managing tenancy breaches and Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) cases. You will work closely with the Director of Housing & Support and the Customer Engagement & Insight Manager regarding customer satisfaction and activities, as well as managing relationships with external stakeholders including Local Authorities and other organizations.
About You:
We are looking for an enthusiastic leader with the passion and vision to drive performance and meet our residents' needs. This role requires strong communication and relationship-building skills, along with attention to detail and the ability to act on data. Experience in social housing is highly desirable, and you must have, or be willing to work towards, a CIH Level 4 qualification.
